Patty Schopp
Patty Schopp has been a licensed cosmetologist for 15 years, 9 of those as an independent contractor. Patty is a lead artist for Le Reve Hair and Makeup, an on-site hair and makeup team that specializes in weddings and special events throughout Ohio.
Patty graduated from the Aveda Institute of Cosmetology in Columbus, Ohio in 2005. After receiving her cosmetology license, she completed a 2-year apprenticeship before becoming a full-time hairstylist. Patty worked for 6 years as a stylist and makeup artist while building a loyal clientele then decided to advance her career by becoming an independent contractor in 2012 and has worked in a rental salon environment since.
Patty believes strongly in supporting women and those recovering from addiction. She has volunteered at the Community Shelter Board, food pantries and has donated hair services for the homeless and recovering addicts. Patty completed a human trafficking and trauma training course through She Has a Name, an anti-human trafficking organization.
To say Patty is passionate about the cosmetology and beauty industry is an understatement. She entered the field at the age of 19 and built a successful business, raised her now 14-year-old son Miles as a single mother and promises to work just as tirelessly as an advocate for all industries included in the cosmetology field.
